I&#039;ve had conversations about this concept of MeBranding as well as personal branding in the social media age with Baby Boomers and even X-ers that are a bit older than I am. They get kind of appalled that people expect that level of customization and find it quite narcissistic. 

However, I am always quick to point out that this trend has been in process for at LEAST 50 years. Ever since Henry Ford started offering cars that were not painted black, people have been customizing or special ordering all manner of things. In a lot of ways, we are on our way back to a time when ALL your clothes were custom-tailored and ALL your furniture was hand built. We&#039;re just using technology to help us get there.</description>

		<description>This article is right on.  I know that it may take some nonprofits a while to get used to but the younger generations are all into mebranding.  The nonprofits better jump on board or risk fewer donations.</description>
