Maria Gajewski – Author, NP2020: Issues and Answers from the Next Generation
Maria is a researcher for the Community Research Institute in the Johnson Center at Grand Valley State University. Her involvement in NP2020 began over a year ago, when she and a group of individuals at the Johnson Center wanted to give emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector a voice. She was on the planning committee for the 2007 NP2020 conference and served as a facilitator during the conference. She was also a lead researcher and author of the NP2020 report.

Marla Cornelius – Author, Ready to Lead? Next Generation Leaders Speak Out
Marla is a Projects Director at CompassPoint Nonprofit Services. She is responsible for the creation and management of several research, leadership and governance projects. Most recent work includes managing a three-year initiative working with a cohort of community-based nonprofits to develop a dashboard of organizational performance metrics; co-authorship of the recently published national research report Ready to Lead? Next Generation Leaders Speak Out, and the development of CompassPoint’s new intensive training program for emerging nonprofit managers. Additionally, she develops curricula in the areas of staff management, personal development, and governance/boards of directors.

Lori Bartczak – Author, Next Generation Leadership Action Guide
Lori is manager of content development for Grantmakers for Effective Organizations, a coalition of more than 300 grantmaking organizations committed to building strong and effective nonprofit organizations. In her role, Lori plans content for GEO conferences and oversees work on GEO publications, including GEO’s recent Action Guide, Supporting Next Generation Leadership.
